Erin Andrews (born May 4, 1978, Lewiston, Maine, USA) is an American sports journalist and commentator for Fox Sports. She previously worked for the ESPN1 sports channel.

In 2007 and 2008, she was voted "Sexiest Sports Presenter in the United States"



After high school at Bloomingdale High School near Tampa, Florida3, she graduated with a degree in telecommunications from the University of Florida in 2000.


She began her career at FSN Florida as an independent reporter in 2000-2001 before being hired as a journalist by Lightning Tampa Bay for Sunshine Network in 2001-20021. She then worked for Turner Sports from 2002 to 20041. Andrews joined ESPN in May 2004 as a reporter to cover National Hockey League matches1. It also covers academic sports events of American football and basketball1. In 2005, she began her work covering the Major League Baseball and College World Series games.

In the summer of 2007, a voyeur apparently filmed her naked in a hotel room and broadcast the video on the Web, which caused controversy because of the invasion of privacy and a wave of hacking.

She participated in the 2010 television show Dancing with the Stars (season 10) on the ABC channel in the United States. Since 2014, she has been presenting the show alongside Tom Bergeron.

On March 8, 2016, she received $ 55 million in damages following the trial for being filmed naked in 2007.
